Activities And Excursions

We believe that our students are not only here to learn Spanish, but to be part of an exciting experience abroad! Keeping that in mind, we always coordinate extra activities and weekend excursions.

Buenos Aires and Santiago are historically rich cities and experiencing their many modern museums, amazing architecture, and parks is just the starting point to understanding their distinct cultures. Being metropolitan areas, within the city limits the activities are innumerable, but, for those seeking escape from the big city, outdoor excursions from both Buenos Aires and Santiago are easily accessible.

If you prefer to avoid the metropolitan areas, Bariloche is situated lakeside in the Andes Mountains and Patagonia region. From the town it is easy to arrange ski trips in the winter (June - September) and white-water rafting, climbing, and trekking throughout the year.


The Andean borders of Chile and Argentina are prime locations for horseback-riding, skiing, trekking, and whitewater rafting. The north and south of these two countries still contain many pristine areas perfect for adventurous students; from Argentina´s Iguazú Falls to Chile´s Torres de Paine, bikers, photographers, skiers, and hikers will all be impressed by amazing landscapes.

  • Argentina’s world famous futbol matches between Boca Juniors and River Plate. Outdoor Activities And Excursions: Estancias (country ranches), Colonia (trip to Uruguay's city), El Tigre (river plate delta).
  • Chile’s port city of Valparaíso and nearby Isla Negra, home to Nobel Prize-winning poet Pablo Neruda´s most famous house. Outdoor Activities And Excursions: Trip to Viña (beach ressort), Rafting on Chilean white waters
  • Bariloche’s National Park Nahuel Huapi, Ski in Cerro Catedral, Victoria island  and tours to the many lakes, forest and glaciers around.
